Whom to follow in AI Space

Often I’m asked whose voices in AI are worth following. Every now and then I discover someone new sharing thoughtful perspectives on social media. Unfortunately, staying consistently active over a long period isn’t easy — many great voices appear briefly and then fade.

However, a few people have managed to share valuable insights consistently for years. Here are some of the people I’ve followed for a long time and keep learning from:

Andrew Ng

Creator of Coursera & DeepLearning.AI

Many people started their ML/AI journey thanks to his courses. He has a rare talent for explaining complex ideas clearly and regularly shares thoughtful essays about the future of the field.

Chip Huyen

Author of Designing Machine Learning Systems and AI Engineering

She doesn’t publish frequently, but when she does, her posts are insightful and widely discussed in the AI community.

Damien Benveniste

Former theoretical physicist explaining complex AI concepts clearly

He seems less active since taking a full-time role late last year, but his past posts and newsletter are still well worth exploring.

Lenny Rachitsky

Former Airbnb Product Manager, creator of Lenny’s Newsletter & Podcast

While his main focus is product management, he often covers AI topics and interviews leaders from top AI companies.

Andrej Karpathy

Former Tesla & OpenAI researcher/leader

Known for clear technical thinking and practical insights. He coined the term “vibe coding” and occasionally shares sharp perspectives on where AI is heading.

Sebastian Raschka

ML educator and researcher. Shares deep but approachable explanations of LLM architecture, training tricks, and papers.

Ethan Mollick

Professor studying real-world AI adoption One of the best voices on how AI actually changes work, education, and companies. Very consistent and practical. LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/emollick/

Allie K. Miller

AI strategy, enterprise adoption, business framing Accessible explanations for leaders and practitioners. LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/alliekmiller/

Thomas Wolf

Co-founder of Hugging Face Shares insights on open AI ecosystem and model democratization. LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/thom-wolf/

What about you? Who’s your go-to voice in this noisy AI world?
